Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes what you may and may not use Forecraft for. It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms have the same meaning as in the Terms of Service.
Forecraft is a professional tool for fractional CFOs, CPA firms, and finance advisory teams. It is designed for legitimate financial close workflow work. The following uses are prohibited.
Prohibited Uses
1. Fraudulent or fabricated financial data
You may not upload financial data that is fabricated, falsified, manipulated, or fraudulent for any purpose. This includes creating reports that misrepresent the financial position of a business.
2. Misleading reports
You may not use Forecraft to create financial reports, management packs, or analysis that is intended to deceive clients, investors, lenders, regulators, or any other party. This includes knowingly distributing AI-generated content that contains material errors without correction.
3. Unauthorized data
You may not upload financial data belonging to a business without authorization from that business. You represent that you have the legal right and appropriate consent to process any data you upload.
4. Unauthorized access
You may not attempt to access, query, probe, or extract data from other users’ workspaces. You may not attempt to circumvent workspace isolation or any other access control mechanism.
5. Automated abuse
You may not use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract Forecraft’s platform content, interface, or functionality. You may not use bots or scripts to abuse the API or consume resources at rates that would degrade the experience for other users.
6. Unauthorized resale
You may not resell, sublicense, or white-label access to Forecraft without an authorized reseller agreement with us. Contact legal@forecraft.tech to inquire about reseller or partnership arrangements.
7. Misuse of AI output
You may not use AI-generated output from Forecraft as a substitute for licensed accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice without proper review. You must independently verify all AI-generated content before presenting it to clients or using it in any professional context.
8. Violation of law
You may not use Forecraft in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, including but not limited to: financial regulations, securities laws, privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), anti-money laundering requirements, or professional licensing rules in your jurisdiction.
Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund, at our sole discretion. We may also report suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to cooperate with law enforcement in any investigation.
