Does ForeCraft work with my accounting software?
ForeCraft connects to QuickBooks Online and Xero, both currently in beta. For any other platform — Sage, FreshBooks, Wave, or anything else — export a CSV and upload it. ForeCraft handles categorization and analysis automatically.
Will the output sound like me or like a generic AI?
ForeCraft's AI uses CFO language standards, not general text. It produces executive summaries in exactly 3 sentences and decision memos in a strict 4-line format. Every sentence is grounded in your actual data — no invented figures. You review and edit before anything goes to a client.
Is my clients' financial data safe?
Your clients' data is encrypted in transit and at rest, never used to train AI models, and processed only to generate your close pack. ForeCraft is GDPR-compliant for European users. Full details at /security.
Can I use ForeCraft if my clients are outside the US?
Yes. ForeCraft works with any CSV from any accounting platform worldwide. QuickBooks and Xero connections are in beta. UK users on Sage or FreeAgent use CSV export — it works perfectly. ForeCraft is GDPR-compliant for all European users.
What exactly is a management pack?
A management pack is the monthly client deliverable a fractional CFO produces — executive summary, variance analysis, KPI snapshot, cash runway, and action items. ForeCraft generates the entire pack automatically from a CSV or accounting software export within minutes.
How long does the first pack take?
Your first close pack takes a few guided steps from upload to review. The onboarding wizard guides you through upload, category confirmation, and pack generation. After the first run, repeat closes are faster because your category mapping is remembered.
How is ForeCraft different from Fathom?
Fathom produces reports and dashboards — it tells you what changed. ForeCraft produces a complete monthly close workflow and tells you what to do about it — with decision memos that assign an owner, a due date, and a next step. Fathom recently added AI commentary. ForeCraft adds AI accountability. They are different products.
Do my clients need to create an account?
No. Clients receive a link they open in any browser — no account, no login, no app to install. They can read the pack, ask questions by section, and receive your replies. The link stays live and always shows your latest published pack.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Every management pack you generate is downloadable as a standalone HTML file that works without ForeCraft. Your data is yours. Export everything from Account Settings at any time. After cancellation your data is retained 30 days, then permanently deleted.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Owner plan is free with 1 workspace, P&L upload, month-over-month changes, and a basic cash outlook. No credit card required.
What is the Founding Advisor offer?
Founding Advisor is the complete Advisor plan — including 5 client workspaces — at $99/month, open to the first 10 eligible firms. The price is guaranteed for 24 months while your subscription stays continuously active. Cancelling ends the guarantee. After 24 months the subscription renews at the then-current Advisor price, and we give at least 60 days' notice before any price change. Founding Advisor status, priority onboarding, early feature access, roadmap input, and Certified Advisor enrollment are permanent and are not affected when the guarantee ends.
What does ForeCraft cost?
Owner is free. Advisor is $149/month for 5 client workspaces. Practice is $299/month for 10 workspaces and 3 seats. Firm is $599/month for 25 workspaces and 10 seats. Beyond that, Enterprise is a custom quote. Cancel anytime.
