ForeCraft is for a CPA advisory team delivering the same monthly review across many clients. It standardises how each close is run, applies your firm branding to every deliverable, gives each reviewer a defined role, and keeps every client in its own workspace with its own history and mapping.
Repeatable delivery across a client base
The problem at firm scale is not producing one good pack — it is producing the same good pack every month, from several reviewers, without the quality drifting between them.
- Reusable report standards. Fix the shape of the deliverable once so every client review follows it, whoever runs the month.
- Firm branding. Packs and share links carry your firm’s name and logo rather than ForeCraft’s.
- Team roles and review workflow. A preparer drafts, a reviewer checks, and the pack is released — the review step is part of the tool rather than an email thread.
- Strict mode. Blocks analysis when the totals do not reconcile, so a reviewer cannot accidentally sign off on a broken import.
- Bulk pack downloads. Pull every client’s pack for the period in one action at month end.
- Budget-versus-actual and year-over-year comparison. The two comparisons advisory clients ask for most.
- Advisory Conversation Guide. Prompts for the client meeting, derived from what actually moved in the month.
- A workspace per client. Category mapping, history, and comments stay separated by client rather than pooled.
Practice or Firm?
Both are firm-grade. The difference is scale and portfolio oversight, not quality of output.

Terms used on this page
- Standardisation
- Making the deliverable identical in structure across clients and reviewers, so quality does not depend on who ran the month.
- Review workflow
- A defined preparer-then-reviewer sequence before a pack is released to a client.
- Strict mode
- A setting that blocks analysis when totals do not reconcile, rather than producing a report from data that does not add up.
- Portfolio close dashboard
- A firm-level view of which client closes are complete, in review, or not started.
- Multi-entity consolidation
- Combining several related entities into one set of figures. Currently in beta.
What ForeCraft does not do
- Advanced roles and activity logs are not built yet. The Firm plan lists them as coming soon — today you get standard workspace roles, not granular permissions or an exportable audit log.
- Board-deck export is not built yet. Do not plan a client deliverable around it.
- Multi-entity consolidation is in beta and has not been verified in production. Do not commit it to a client engagement letter yet.
- QuickBooks Online connection and Xero connection are also in beta. CSV and XLSX upload is the dependable path.
- Seat counts are contractual, not yet technically enforced — the plan includes 3 or 10 seats, but the application does not currently block additional members.
- ForeCraft does not perform audit, assurance, tax preparation, or filing, and does not replace professional judgment or sign-off.
- ForeCraft is not a practice management, time tracking, or billing system.
- ForeCraft reads the accounting data you give it. It does not correct the underlying books.
Standardise one client, then roll it out
Start free on a single workspace, run one real month end to end, and compare it against how your team produces the same pack today.
